CARE empowers women and girls to build a more equal world. We actively help women to earn more income, prevent violence, get basic services and gain more learning opportunities.
- $1,500 can help six girls attend school for a year

Signing up to Walk in Her Shoes is easy, and it's FREE to register! Click here to sign up, and follow the simple steps to create your personalised profile page where you can receive donations, post updates, and share your profile page.
By signing up, you will have created your own Walk in Her Shoes profile page. This profile page has a unique URL / link that you can share with family, friends and colleagues to encourage donations. We also have a number of fundraising ideas to help you raise money.
On your profile page, people can make a donation through our secure payment gateway using a valid credit card or Paypal.
No, registering for Walk in Her Shoes is FREE and we appreciate all fundraising efforts - large and small. If you’re looking for some inspiration, here are some fundraising ideas to help you raise money.
Firstly, sign up as an individual. Please click here to sign up.
Once you have signed up, you can create or join a team from your profile page. On the left hand column of the page, scroll down to 'Join a Team' and you can select to 'Create a Team' or 'Find a Team' to join. Further instructions are available here.
While we encourage all donations to be made online, we realise this isn't always possible. To make a donation via bank deposit, EFT, cheque or money order, please download and follow the instruction on our offline Donation Form.
Starting from 2nd March - 8th March, log on to your personal Walk in Her Shoes profile page to upload your steps each day. You can track your steps with your favourite smartphone application or activity tracker device, or contact [email protected] to order your free CARE pedometer.
Steps can be logged on your profile manually, by clicking ‘Post Walk’.
Further information on syncing your steps through a fitness tracker application will be available on the 24th February.
